| We are often asked "where do
you get your architectural salvage materials like lumber, windows, leaded glass etc.?". Typically we hear about architectural salvage like an old building or barn planned for demolition. We submit a bid to remove the structure instead, keeping careful note of the parts and how they fit together. The architectural salvage material comes into our antique barn in Kennebunk, Maine, is inventoried and resold as architectural artifacts. In some cases we take architectural salvage lumber from the walls or floors and create new pieces, a process we call regeneration. Pictured here is our original architectural salvage barn before it was dismantled and moved. |
